We hope that the artifacts you borrow will be touched and closely examined. If they are handled with respect and kept in a safe place there should be no problem. However, in a collection of this nature it is inevitable that breakage and loss occasionally occur.

  • Please notify us if anything happens to an artifact in your possession. Do Not attempt repair, but in case of broken ceramics please keep all the pieces.
  • In the case of breakage we will ask you if you are willing to contribute towards the cost of repair. However it is not compulsory and would not, we hope, prevent borrowing in the future.
